For those of you who watch me or are good friends of mine, I just wanted to pass on the word that I am FINALLY uploading videos to my YouTube account, and they're actually not too horrible and were really fun to make.
Turns out Windows Movie Maker isn't complete and total crap after all.
So, here's my account:

I was actually everything it was hyped up to be and more.
Okay, so Shane Acker isn't the world's greatest story-teller, but it's his first time directing a feature film and the original plot came from a five-minute short that was created by a team of five.
The animation is exquisite, the action scenes are spectacular, the characters are BEAUTIFULLY portrayed (even the little unimportant bit parts), and the not-so-great story-telling isn't so bad that it detracts from everything else that's outrageously fantastic about the film.
I do recommend going to film website and watching the original short, though, cause it makes more sense of the story as it's being told. I went to the movie with a friend of mine who hadn't even known the film started out as a short and he was totally confused as some points in the film. I showed him the website and short once we got back to my house and he told me that he could understand the film a trillion times better.
So, out of 10, I'd give this film a 9.5, cause the animation and action and character portrayal are simply too good to be dragged down by the director's inexperience with plot advancement, and even then, the inexperience was tempered by blokes who knew what they were doing (IE the Producers), so it's really not all that bad anyway.

Isn't it supposed to be a very dark film, too?
I mean, I've seen bits of it in a Coheed and Cambria music video, and it looks to me like everyone dies except for Elijah Wood's character.
Am I wrong??

A lot of the main characters DO die, but not all of then.
At the end, four of the characters remain alive. Not gonna tell who though.
That's for me to know and you to find out.

Sounds reasonable.
(I do know that 5 dies, at least in one part of the film)
I don't know if I'll be able to see it any time soon, though...
