Stupid Greek Coffee...My brain is melting.
I hate you, Greek coffee, hate you so much.
So delicious, so wonderful, so goddamn CAFFEINATED. UGH.
Kept me up until, what was it, 2:30? 3:30? I dunno. It was late. Didn't sleep too long either, as you can probably tell.
Meh.
Anyway, just a quick update.
Still need to figure out a Thank You gift for Kel, but I got my Beasts of 9 submission done. Apparently, you can submit more than one, so I might post another one. I ended up doodling a lot last night, and I created this cute little needle-footed tripod monster that looks suspiciously like that weird doctor bot from the second Transformers movie, but made out of scrap parts and without the pseudo glasses. I really do like drawing for this contest, it's been stimulating my creative sense quite nicely.
Okay, back to business.
I am going to be absent, at least for today, maybe for tomorrow as well, from DeviantArt. From the internet in general, to be truthful.
I've been on the computer so much lately, my brain has nearly turned into mush. I'm afraid I'm going to wake up one day and find a puddle of gray goop oozing out of my ear.
So, I'm taking a brake, leaving Cory, my beloved taptop, here at home, where she can download "Hulk Vs. Wolverine" without any interruptions or shorts on the internet access. If I'm lucky, the film will be done by the time I get home and I can laugh at Deadpool in high quality.
Maybe even make one of those silly tribute/compilation vids on Movie Maker.
Damnit, I STILL haven't figured out which CS4 program is for film creation!

Have a good break.
Yeah, I know the feeling; sometimes I feel like there may be a time where my brain starts oozing out of my head and my body continues on in a zombie-like state.
I'm still conscious, but I can't control my body.
Then, after I feel like my mind can't take any more...everything stops.
Everything is at a standstill; I hear nothing, feel nothing, and see nothing.
The only things I hear, see, and feel are my thoughts.
At this time, I truly find peace.
This is where I go to write my Dead Space stuff.
My mind gets..."unlocked", so to speak.
I also may have one of two songs playing, one is Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria, and the other is the song in the background of the Dead Space launch trailer.
Very cool songs, I might add.

I got a bunch of silly original sketches marked out, plus a new idea for another 9 submission, and I actually got some writing done on a story that's been sitting around for longer than I care to think about.
Good progress after weeks of stagnation.
I just had to get the frogs out of my head.

Never heard the Dead Space one, I'll have to go look it up.
I actually really enjoyed my day away, and it was really beneficial.
I got some good sketches down, a bit of writing, and I got Camy to dowload the Hulk vs Wolverine movie while I was away, so now I have Deadpool sillys at my beck and call.
Might even make a stupid little cid out of it if I feel like it.
